Anilesh Seth
Managing Director
Anilesh Seth joined SUPERVALU Services, India in March of 2007. He is responsible for guiding the strategy, development and operations of SUPERVALU Inc's first international venture. SUPERVALU Services India is an IT captive center which handles application development, infrastructure and testing for SUPERVALU, Inc. Additionally, Seth serves on the SUPERVALU Services Board of Directors which analyzes and approves all capital investments for SUPERVALU India and offshore project transition.
Prior to joining SUPERVALU Services India, Seth was CEO of Qatalys Software Technologies and before Qatalys, CEO of LG Soft, India. Seth has over 22 years in the IT industry both in India and abroad, with an intense focus on IT Education and Quality Management. Seth also has extensive experience with TQM principles which form the foundation of today's quality principles as they apply to IT and ITES.
Seth earned his Bachelors of Technology in Electronics from India Institute of Technology in Chennai, India and his MBA from India Institute of Management in Bangalore, India where he received a gold medal for best all-round performance.
Balamukundan Hari Alvar
Director, Infrastructure Services
Balamukundan Hari Alvar joined SUPERVALU Services India in July, 2008. Bala leads the Infrastructure Services function for SUPERVALU in India.
He has over two decades of experience across various functions in infrastructure management and is also a Project Management (PM) certified and an ITIL practitioner.
His last assignment was with Infosys Technologies, where he served at both their Phoenix, Arizona office and their Minneapolis, Minnesota office for over two years, before returning to Bangalore. He managed their service continuity programs for business critical applications, and provided infrastructure services, governance structures, and process mapping solutions to Infosys' clients. Bala also worked at Wipro Technologies, out of their San Jose, California office from 1999-2001.
Bala has completed his Bachelors in Electronics and is an ITIL Practitioners & PMP certified professional and a BS15000 certified auditor.
Suresh Basavaraju
Director, Process Maturity
Suresh Basavaraju has joined SUPERVALU Services India in April 2008. Suresh is responsible for responsible for developing and deploying Engagement framework based on industry recognized models that lead to process maturity.
Suresh has over 18 years of experience, spanning functions such as Process Governance, Software Quality Compliance, and CMMI initiatives across diverse organizations in software services, banking, and financial products. Prior to SI Suresh has had two stints of work in the US: from 1994-1997 where he managed Electronic Data Systems (EDS) for Datamatics Ltd., and more recently when he headed the Quality department for JP Morgan from 2003-2005.His last assignment was with Accenture India.
Suresh has his Bachelors in Physics from Mumbai University, and PGD in Systems Management from NIIT, Mumbai.
Suneeta Ijari
Director, Human Resources
Suneeta Ijari has joined SUPERVALU Services, India in February of 2007.
She is responsible for formulating and implementing Human Resources policies and practices at SUPERVALU Services India. Through progressive Human Resources practices and policies, one of her major initiatives is to make the Company "Best Places to Work" in Bangalore and India.
Prior to joining SUPERVALU Services India, Suneeta has 15 years of work experience in the area of Human Resources. Suneeta previously worked with Elcoteq Electronics India, American Power Conversion India, and AT S India. Suneeta has extensive experience with TQM principles, Six Sigma principles and HR Balanced Score Card.
Suneeta has a Masters Degree in Management and Bachelor's degree in Science.
Andrew Kubitschek
Director, IT Application Services
Andrew Kubitschek joined SUPERVALU IT in October of 2005. He has been the expat Director over Application Services at SUPERVLU India since November 1, 2007. Over the past year Andrew has been responsible for bridging the gap between SUPERVALU US and SUPERVALU India IT, improving the overall engagement and understanding the technical and cultural challenges faced when building a captive IT organization in India supporting a US-based retail giant.
Andrew now leads the tactical day-to-day operations of the Application Services organization for SUPERVALU in India.
Andrew has over fifteen years of retail and IT experience spanning independent retail pharmacy ownership and operation, healthcare IT, and responsibility for Development, Support, and Testing functions for Corporate and Business systems. His last role within SUPERVALU US was with the Partner Collaboration team within the Supply Chain IT organization.
Bhaskar Vemur
Director, Finance and Commercial
Bhaskar Vemur joined SUPERVALU Services India in October 2007. Bhaskar leads the Finance, Legal Commercial and Facilities functions for SUPERVALU in India.
Bhaskar has over 17 years of experience in Manufacturing and IT industries across functions like finance, accounting, commercial contracts, company law compliance, corporate strategy management, sales and marketing support, corporate governance, and capital markets.
Prior to joining SUPERVALU he has held CFO positions with Mindteck and LG CNS Global which is part of $100 billion LG Group of South Korea.
Bhaskar has completed his Bachelors in Commerce from the University of Madras, and is an Associate of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India.
